Author Lisa Tawn Bergren is a very talented author.  I have loved her words of wisdom passed through the story lines of her children's book series for years.  There is many teachable moments in, 'God Gave Us Angels'.

Papa Bear finds his Little Cub searching for angels.  This Little Cub asks her father all sorts of questions regarding angels.  Everything from what angels look like, what they do, their purpose, and where they came from.. And with tenderness, Papa Bear answers all of Little Cub's questions.  I love and appreciate how biblically accurate {accoding to the documented chapters in James Holy Bible} this book is written, in a perspective that a child (and some adults) can easily comprehend.

I am stashing this one away till Christmas for my littlest.  I have high hopes for it to stay of good condition in his library so that one day, it may be passed down to his children, just as some of his books have been passed to him by his father.

Eco - Friendly Way to Rid your Property of Wildlife

*Not a paid post, I did receive a free roll for my honest review.

Predator Guard Scare Tape - Bird Repellent Tape Scares Birds & Daytime Predators From Gardens, Docks, Boats & More - Highly Effective Deterrent, Easy Installation, No Maintenance Required! (Lawn & Patio)

As much as I love living in the mountains, sometimes the wildlife assume my yard is their domain, including my back patio!  Silly varmints!

I wish I would have ordered this at the beginning of spring to keep the birds from eating away the seeds from my garden.  But thus far, it's become a very effective tool to keeping the deer from eating away at my mums and coming up on my back patio knocking my pottery over.  It's a good thing the roll is a hundred feet long, because I had more than enough to hang several feet of strands between the trees surrounding my back patio and the perimeter of my side yard that seems like there should be a welcome sign hanging coming from the forest to my yard.

This reflective tape got huge brownie points from me due to the safety of my family.  It is seeming to deter the family of red foxes that have a bad habit of running across my yard (in broad daylight) while my children are out playing.  Their lack of human fear, has been scaring me for month.

This hardy reflective mylar strip (yet very light weight), and is perfect for a variety of uses.  The packaging mentioned that it's great for keeping boats safe from birds, which will be another bonus once we get a boat.  Thus far, I've only used it for yard/patio on the side I prefer NOT to have any extra visitors and it is fulling it's purpose quite well.  The Scare Tape has held up perfectly through several rains storms with no sign of wear or fading.  I will be looking forward to getting another roll in the spring to further secure my tomato patch.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I'm {Eco} Nuts about these Balls!

Attention Fellow Household Laundry Attendants!  I found a company named Eco Nuts and they have a whole product line that is rite up our Natural/Organic alley!  You know how I love finding and sharing with you ways to save our planet and some green($), so let me assure you - this company is AMAZING on so many levels!

As the days get colder, it's less feasible for me to now line dry.  With a large family, my next organic option for soft clothing is with wool balls!

2 Products I personally tried

Click here to buy Eco Nuts Wool Dryer Balls, 4 Balls

First, let me tell you about My experience with their Balls:
Unlike my previous post about wool dryer balls {tutorial} ~ these wool balls are KING SIZE and are 100% Felted.  Meaning they won't risk becoming unraveled over time if they aren't made correctly.
~ They expedited my drying time as I suspected.
~ They are reusable for years ~ so I'm continuing to save money for my family by eliminating the need to purchase fab sheets or pricey bottles of liquid softener and cutting back on dryer time.
~ Of course, they are chemical free - so no rashes on my sensitive skin son {win-win}!!

Click to buy -  Eco Nuts Organic Laundry Soap, 6.5 Ounce
Now to tell you about My experience with their Nuts!
Certified Organic and grown in Nepal.  They are actually a dried berry shell that came from a tree in Asia that had been used to naturally clean clothes for years.
~ I only put 4 soap nuts in the muslin bag and used them 10 times so far, (I think I can get several more washes with them yet since they still have a soapy consistency to them).
NOTE: If you have a nut allergy, this is OK for you!  The Soap Nuts are actually deseeded soap berries. =)

Instagram Love!

Words for Pictures, by Brian Michael Bendis

A must have for the Marvel collector, or aspiring comic book enthusiast!

Title: Words for Pictures
By: Brian Michael Bendis
Author Bio:  Random House

I was tickled pink to be able to review this book before it's release.  I doubt I will make it to Stan Lee's ranking in my son's eye, but I definitely made my way up the cool mom ladder a few notches!

Writer Brian Michael Bendis is a Rock Star within the comic book world.  This book provides some key tools and techniques of the trade used in the production of some of the most popular comic books of all time...but most of the content is him interviewing other writers.  Given Bendis' reputation and vast achievements, I was expecting more depth to this text.

My teen has been one of Stan Lee's biggest fans since he was a toddler.  Through the years, he developed an impressive Marvel collection.  Since he could draw, he was making his own little illustrations and comic books.  He and I marveled over the words that led us through the creative method provided for making comics.  From the creative method, such as taking an idea, how to turn it into script to the finished art.

However, this book does not compare to Stan Lee's, 'How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way', but as a collector - this is a great addition to have.
